I recently purchased Google's Nexus 7 and so far it is amazing! I will use it as a portfolio as well as to do some quick digital paintings with Sketchbook Pro.
Here are some of the paintings I did from life, enjoy!
Brilliant paintings! I'm looking into getting into the tablet thing as well but I was never quite sure that I'd get presssure sensitivity. What stylus did you use?
Thanks! I did not use pressure sensitivity for these, and I used the amPen Microfiber Stylus. But there are other styluses that have pressure sensitivity such as the ones from Adonit.
Ok, thanks! I can live without pressure sensitivity (I sometimes use photoshop in Linux via wine w/ broken pressure sensitivity). I guess it's just icing on the cake. I'm still getting an N7 + Adonit Jot Pro (it's the only good, ready available stylus in my country). Your painting samples here just sealed the deal. Thanks again!
Great works, I'm planning to buy a nexus 7, i would like to know whether the touch screen is pressure sensitive or not for using a pressure sensitive stylus?
Thanks! The screen itself is not pressure sensitive, but you can get a pressure sensitive stylus to work with apps such as Sketchbook Pro. For these paintings, I did not use any pressure sensitivity, I manually control them from the App.
that's great, you achieved lots of perfection in control, by the way, i would like to know about the Adonit styli.. I think adonit jot classic, the basic model is also having same technical specification as other styli like adonit jot pro etc. except the convenience part like rubber grip, dampening etc. Is there any specific advantage using jot pro etc. over adonit classic.. please help me in choosing right stylus.. by the way, i'm a beginner for this kind of art..
Great digital sketches man! Hopefully ill be able to get to the workshop saturday!
ReplyDeleteThanks buddy, most of these are done on the workshop on friday @ 330. Come along!
